2Ring Applications in TPSA Showroom


2Ring proudly announces the official availability of its Cisco IP Telephony applications in Telekomunikacja Polska's showroom in its Warsaw headquarters. Potential and current users of Cisco IP telephony thus have the unique opportunity to try 2Ring applications within a simulated workspace that consists of a desktop PC and a set of Cisco IP Phones (7911, 7940, 7960, 7975) for a real hands-on experience.

One of the applications available in the showroom is IPPS (IP Phones Services), which offers features like corporate and personal directories (possibly protected by a PIN code), caller identification using a corporate directory, text messaging to other Cisco phones, intercom (one way voice broadcast to multiple Cisco IP Phones), and current exchange rates (like those of the European Central Banks) displayed directly on Cisco IP Phones. Most of these services, extended with a click2dial feature, are not only available on Cisco phones, but they can also be accessed through IPPS's web interface.
